About Us

Vermont’s Community Media Access Centers are the nonprofit, interactive, community-based alternative to broadcast commercial and public TV. “Hyperlocal” by design, we cover local meetings and events, offer residents equipment and training to produce their own programs, and provide free cable television channel time and an Internet platform to exhibit programs, announce local events and celebrate our First Amendment rights to free speech. The Vermont Access Network supports and promotes the goals of Vermont’s Access Centers by providing educational resources and representation in the regulatory process.
