About Campus Beautification

We offer many volunteer opportunities at Variety to maintain our 77-acre campus as well as to support our events. Operating an aging campus that must remain accessible requires high human capital resources for maintenance to maintain structures built in the 1950s. We rely on hundreds of volunteers throughout the year to help make repairs and maintain the 30+ aging structures on our campus and grounds, ensuring a high-quality environment for all who use it.

Variety welcomes corporate, civic, and individual groups that complete an array of activities including landscaping, structure repair, and preparing the campus for the change of seasons. Thus, individuals with skills in carpentry, home improvement, or gardening are particularly welcome. Additionally, we need volunteers at various times throughout the year for activities such as preparing materials for mass mailings, and the execution of events for clients or fundraisers. Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome on our campus year-round, in any number, as we always have need of their generosity.
