About Project Serve Mississippi Service Day
Join students from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada in serving at Edwards Street Thrift Store/Food Pantry, Hawkins Elementary School, and Habitat Restore Project. Students will participate in sorting clothes, sorting donations, making food boxes, and participating in a building project. Projects will be from 8 am until 4 pm.
We need volunteers to help with:
Hawkins Elementary School (02/21/2017)
February 21, 2017 8:15am – 3:00pm
Volunteers will assist at Hawkins Elementary School. The meeting location is 526 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
Edwards Street Fellowship Center (02/21/2017)
February 21, 2017 8:30am – 3:30pm
Volunteers will assist at either the food pantry or thrift store. Tasks will include sorting and packaging donations. The meeting location will be 1919 Edwards St. Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
Habitat Restore Project (02/21/2017)
February 21, 2017 8:30am – 3:30pm
Volunteers will assist with a community building project to be determined. The meeting location will be 418 East 7th St. Hattiesburg, MS 39401.
Hawkins Elementary School (02/22/2017)
February 22, 2017 8:15am – 3:00pm
Volunteers will assist at Hawkins Elementary School. The meeting location is 526 Forrest Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401.

Volunteers will assist at either the food pantry or thrift store. Tasks will include sorting and packaging donations. The meeting location will be 1919 Edwards St. Hattiesburg, MS 39401 at 8 am, then 2315 Lincoln Rd. Hattiesburg, MS 39401 at 12 pm.
