About Disaster Prep Rally
9/11 National Day of Service
Monday – The 9/11 Disaster Prep Rally will be held at the Joe Cook Elementary School from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event is designed to educate 300 - 500 students in grades 3rd – 5th on disaster preparedness in a fun way.
Participating agencies are asked to:
• Talk about 9/11 or disaster in our area
• Teach the students “your” roll during a disaster
• Teach the students “their” roll during a disaster
• Make it fun!
• Provide stickers, balloons, goodie bags, etc
• Stay the full length of the event (if unable please let me know prior to the event)
