About 2017 Fireworks on the Water
On Saturday, July 1, 2017 A free fireworks show will be held on the East Bank of the Stennis Lock & Dam. Free to all! Live music, children's activities, food and drink vendors. Your assistance is needed in the following areas:
Set-Up
Take-Down
Vendor Support
Volunteer Tent
Children's Area
Disabled Shuttle
Traffic Control
West Bank
Miscellaneous Volunteers
Special Clean-Up Volunteers
Staff t-shirts and food vouchers will be provided to all Saturday volunteers. MINIMUM AGE 16

Saturday Event Volunteers (8:30am to 4:30pm)
July 1, 2017 8:30am – 4:30pm
Volunteers needed to ensure check in, receive t-shirts, food, water, assisting vendors, and briefing on expected duties. Bring a chair. Volunteers are not required to stay the full time. Please let the Volunteer Director how long you are planning to stay.

RED CROSS (employees only)
July 1, 2017 3:00pm – 10:00pm
Red Cross will determine the shifts time for each volunteer.
Disabled Shuttle (4pm to 11pm)
July 1, 2017 4:00pm – 11:00pm
Volunteers needed,to transport disabled persons using a golf cart. Volunteers are not obligated to stay the full-time but do need to communicate with the volunteer director expect departure time.
