About 9/11 Service Project: Burchett Park Clean Up

Be a part of the citywide effort to commemorate the September 11th Serve to Remember Days of Service initiative by volunteering to help clean up Burchett Park.

The Park is located off of Dover Rd. between Donna Dr. and Roselawn Dr.). Burchett Park is in a neighborhood where many Ft. Campbell soldiers and their families live.

The project is to spend a day doing pavilion repairs, painting of playground equipment, painting of parking lot spaces, removal of old landscape timbers, spreading pea gravel in the playground areas, general park clean up, etc. This is one of many volunteer opportunities available through the Volunteer Clarksville website.

SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE

Work to be done:
-Removal of old landscape timbers
-Weed removal around playground equipment
-Painting of playground equipment
-Painting of parking lot lines and handicap parking spots
-Painting of picnic pavilion posts
-Spreading out pea gravel in play ground area
-General park clean up
