About Free Tax Preparation Volunteer

Free tax preparation continues to be the nation’s leading anti-poverty tool, and helps families access the supplemental income necessary to provide basic needs for their children.
This year, we need over 100 volunteers to serve a greater number of families with low income! No experience is necessary to become a volunteer!
Volunteer sites located in Everett, Monroe, Lynnwood, Arlington, and Stanwood!

Application Process

Visit https://www.uwsc.org/vitavols and click the red button to find the shift that works with your schedule! We accommodate any schedule from retiree to full-time to student.

We provide all necessary training for you to become a fully certified IRS free tax preparer. Choose your training sessions in December/January.
