About Community Investment Teams

The United Way of Rome and Western Oneida County would like community involvement in helping to decide what programs will share in the proceeds from the current campaign. The United Way is looking for volunteers to review funding requests submitted by local agencies. A group of 4-6 team members, known as the Community Investment Team, will be assigned the review of two or three agency requests for funding in year 2017. The volunteers will be responsible for asking challenging questions as related to an individual program request and how best this program benefits the community. Dates and times will be announced in early 2017.
