About UCA Lunch Helpers (Fall Semester)

UCA provides two meals (and a snack) each day for our students. As we are neither publicly funded nor tuition-based, we rely on volunteers to help with many of our day-to-day functions. One area where volunteers are a HUGE help is with meal prep a few days each week. We provide the food and menu, Lunch Helpers warm and serve the meals. Once students are served, Lunch Helpers also help with packing leftovers into to-go plates for students and tidying the kitchen with the week's student helpers.

We are looking for one Lunch Helper for each day of the week (except Fridays) from 11:45am-1p during the fall semester. You can even pair up with a friend and take turns coming! It's easier on us if volunteers can commit to helping the same day each week for a set period of time (ex: the month of September or the full Fall term).

It's a great way to serve our students and staff! You'll get to see our kids each week and many of our previous lunch helpers have becoming special mentors of our students.

All regular UCA volunteers are required to undergo an application process and background check, which UCA will help take care of.
