About Serve as a Respectful Witness at a Prison Event.

We invite volunteers from the community to serve as audience members at the mid-semester and end-of-semester celebrations honoring the women in the Talk to Me programs at MTC Lockhart facility in Lockhart and the Dr. Lane Murray Unit in Gatesville.

These events acknowledge the brave work the women have accomplished in learning how to tell and share their stories of what they believe put them on a path to prison. Your role is to serve as a Respectful Witness to the women's stories, creativity and achievements.

Application Process

Visit www.truth-be-told.org/events/ to RSVP to an upcoming Story Gathering or graduation.
