About Become a Homework Helper!

Homework Helpers provide one:one assistance to struggling youth between the ages of 7 - 18. In tandem with school officials and TRUE Mentors support staff, Homework Helpers meet for virtual session(s) each week to assist with homework, assignments, and test prep for struggling students. The minimum commitment is 1 hour per week for at least a full semester.

This program is new! It started in 2020 in response to the pandemic but has grown significantly each semester.

Application Process

You must submit for a background check and attend required orientations in order to become a Homework Helper with TRUE Mentors.
