About Travis County Search and Rescue: Volunteer Details

TCSAR is made up entirely of volunteers. Volunteers must apply to become a member of the team and complete the necessary skills to become a deployable resource. Members develop useful skills in wilderness first aid, land navigation, search, survival, Incident Command System (ICS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS). Members earn the distinction of a first responder and use their specialized skills to aid Law Enforcement and other emergency services in critical missing and lost person cases.
