The Big Climb
Hosted by: The World is Fun
About The Big Climb
At 788 feet of vertical elevation, the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle stands as the second tallest building west of the Mississippi. It takes 69 flights of stairs, or 1,311 steps, to reach the highly acclaimed observation deck with breathtaking views of the entire Puget Sound region. The Big Climb supports the mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, raising money through sponsorships, individual and team fundraising, and entry fees. In 2014, the event sold out in 13 hours and raised a record breaking $2.42 million for blood cancer research and patient services.
Join The World Is Fun (TWIF) as we support this event by handing out event t-shirts to participants and assisting with other event festivities. We’ll be there bright and early to help them get the fun started on this super busy shift. Once our shift is done, we’ll be heading across the street for some dim sum to celebrate our success.
