About Sumo & Sushi Prep

Join TWIF for the most unique event you'll attend all year: Sumo & Sushi! Thought you'd have to fly to Japan to experience the excitement and fun of this 1500 year old sport? Well you're in luck -- on Saturday, March 26th, you can immerse yourself in an unforgettable 90-minute sumo show in conjunction with USA Sumo right downtown at the Wamu Theatre. Featuring two massive champion sumo wrestlers, pro emcees to explain the rules, it's an event you won't want to miss! Even better, all proceeds from go to support The World is Fun's programs.

Volunteers on Friday night from 6pm to 10pm will help with setup for the next day's event, including moving tables, chairs and tents and setting up the venue! To thank you for your efforts, each volunteer will receive one viewing ticket good for entry to Saturday's event.

This event is great for volunteers 21+.
