About Salmon Bay Clean Up

On June 4th, join TWIF and the Puget Soundkeeper for the first cleanup of the Seattle Summer Sweep, a series of events focused on removing thousands of pounds of debris from Seattle’s urban waters. Volunteer groups will cover both land and water to care for the area extending from Salmon Bay through the Ship Canal to the north end of Lake Union. Sign up to work with a shoreline crew dedicated to removing debris from along the Ship Canal in Fremont. Any bad smells will be covered by delicious scents wafting from Theo Chocolate! Afterwards, head to Fishermen’s Terminal for a celebratory picnic lunch and receive an event t-shirt.
Shift: Saturday, June 4th from 9:30am to 12:00pm
Age Appropriateness: This event is suitable for volunteers 18+.
