About Lake Union Shore Cleanup

On the 4th of July, fireworks light up the sky above Gasworks Park. Unfortunately, they don’t all disappear. Exploded firework casings drop into Lake Union from above while solo cups and beer cans are scattered below. Help TWIF collect this debris before it sinks by meeting with a team of fun volunteers to clean up the shore line right around Gas Works Park. A picnic pizza lunch from Tutta Bella will be available at Lake Union Park following the cleanup.
