About Earth Corps MLK Weekend of Service Signature Event

Join The World is Fun (TWIF) as we support EarthCorps and the Green Seattle Partnership to continue work in this 43-acre greenspace. Participants should expect to learn a brief history of Cheasty Greenspace and an overview of Seattle’s urban forests. Join thousands of volunteers nationwide in making MLK day “a day ON, not a day OFF!”
EarthCorps supplies gloves, tools, water, light refreshments and volunteer education. They provide everything you need to know about tool use and safety, forest health, information on the park, and the importance of the work you’ll be doing. No prior experience necessary, just come ready to learn something new!

Shift: Monday January 18th from 10am - 2pm
