About Bike to the Beach

Join Bike to the Beach Inc, a non-profit organization dedicated to fundraising for autisum, this fall on a ride from Washington DC to Dewey Beach, DE. Through numerous events, Bike to the Beach promotes biking as a viable way of commuting, exercising, and networking. This passion for cycling is coupled with fundraising and awareness for the developmental disease, Autism.

This past summer, Bike to the Beach raised over $400,000 for Autism research and awareness, hosting over 300 cyclists on a journey from the shadow of the Capital to Dewey Beach, DE. The ride is fully supported with free give-a-ways and reststops every 12 miles. We partner with Autism Speaks through our series of "century rides” in DC, NY, and New England that are Autism Speak’s signature biking events in their efforts to raise awareness and fund research for those struggling with Autism.
