About Volunteers needed for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a 5 mile walk dedicated to the support of local and national breast cancer health research, services and educational programs.

500 enthusiastic volunteers are needed to help the event run smoothly for the 15,000 participants. Volunteers should be 14 and older or 10 and older with an adult.

How can you help?

Registration: help register all walkers (7-10:30am)**

Refreshments: set up and distribute food to participants. Volunteers will need to be able to lift boxes of food (7:30am - 1pm)

Water Stations: distribute water to participants (8am-1pm)

Hospitality Officers: direct participants as they approach the registration area and provide general information (7:30am - 12:30pm)

Volunteer Check-in: welcome and check-in all volunteers (6-11:30am)
