About Volunteer to Pack Cars with Food Deliveries

Each month, volunteers deliver food to 2,100 individuals living at or below the poverty level.

For this MLK Day of Service project, volunteers will help pack cars with food bags for delivery. Volunteers should be able to lift 20 pounds and dress warmly, as the project takes place outside.

*This is a family-friendly project for youth 12 and over with an adult. If you are interested in signing up as a family, please choose Sign up with a team. Thanks!

About Hillside Food Outreach: Hillside Food Outreach exists to provide food to those in need throughout Westchester, Putnam Counties and Western CT. It is our Mission to deliver food to people who are, for whatever reason, unable to access local food pantries.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service brings together hundreds of volunteers in Westchester, Rockland, and Putnam for service projects that strengthen communities, empower individuals, bridge barriers, and create solutions. Join us and make this a day on, not a day off. http://www.volunteernewyork.org/mlk
