About Thank You Veterans-- Volunteer Needed

Volunteers are needed to create colorful heart wall-hangings and make thank you cards for veterans. Making a card might seem simple, but thoughtful notes and letters are incredibly meaningful to veterans.

Drop in and join us anytime 2-6pm--no need to stay the whole time or come right at 2pm. This is an open project; pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.

In case of spills, it's suggested you wear an old shirt or smock.

This opportunity is an extension of Volunteer New York!’s “9/11: Serve + Remember” Day of Service event. There are almost 30 meaningful ways you can give back in your community from September 11th through the 13th and honor the memories of those who were lost by being a part of this community-wide action event.
