About Provide Clothing to Children in Need: Help sort and pack back-to-school clothing

Family Services of Westchester (FSW) http://www.fsw.org

Volunteers will help sort and package back to school clothing for local children in need. The Sharing Shelf collects new and gently used clothing for infants, youth and teens. That clothing is distributed to area children at no cost through food pantries, schools and nonprofits. Each child receives a week's worth of clothing matched into outfits. September is one of our busiest months.

This opportunity is an extension of Volunteer New York!’s “9/11: Serve + Remember” Day of Service event. There are almost 30 meaningful ways you can give back in your community from September 11th through the 13th and honor the memories of those who were lost by being a part of this community-wide action event. For more information please visit www.volunteernewyork.org/service or call 914-948-4452.

Family-Friendly
