If you are between 18-44, in good health, and willing to help any patient in need, you can join the Be The Match® Registry.

A consent form and a cheek swab are all you need to join the registry.

Why join?

Thousands of patients with leukemia or other life-threatening disease depend on the Be The Match® Registry, to find a life saving donor.

70% of patients needing a marrow transplant do not have a matching donor in their family.

Each year, 10,000 patients' only hope for a cure is a transplant from someone outside their family.

This opportunity is an extension of Volunteer New York!’s “9/11: Serve + Remember” Day of Service event. There are almost 30 meaningful ways you can give back in your community from September 11th through the 13th and honor the memories of those who were lost by being a part of this community-wide action event.
