Become a trained 2-1-1 disaster helpline operator. Give back to your community when most needed by helping your neighbors after a disaster strikes, find the resources they need to rise up from tragedy.

This project is part of Volunteer New York!'s 2016 Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Serivce. Join your community this January and select from dozens of family-friendly volunteer opportunities throughout Westchester & Rockland. The MLK Day of Service empowers individuals, strengthens communities, bridges barriers, creates solutions to social problems, and moves us closer to Dr. King’s vision of a beloved community.
