About Love Your Neighbor Personal Needs Drive

The Salvation Army Capital Area hands out personal needs supplies to our clients in the Tri-County Area twice a week. In the past we handed out approximately forty bags a week, currently we are handing out approximately a hundred kits per week! So we are asking the community to Love Their Neighbor and help us collect items that we need. All donations can be brought to either 525 N. Pennsylvania, Lansing, MI 48912 or 701 W. Jolly Road, Lansing, MI 48910.
We are in need of items for our Personal Needs Pantry, they include:
Children’s Items
-Baby wipes
-Diapers (all sizes and pull-ups)
-Baby and toddler formula (all kinds can be donated as long as they are not opened)
-Children's Dental Packs (toddler sized toothbrushes, toddler toothpaste without fluoride in case they swallow it)
-Band-Aids
-Q-tips
-Lip balm
-Ethnic sensitive hair care products (oil, small rubber bands, etc.)
-Baby shampoo
-Kid’s body wash
-Coloring books and crayons
-Stickers
Adult items
-Pads & Tampons
-Toilet Paper
-Toothbrushes
-Tooth Paste
-Deodorant
-Travel size bar soap
-Shaving Razors, men’s and women’s
-Shaving Cream
-Dish soap
-Laundry soap
-Small travel size mouthwash
-Travel size hand sanitizer
-Lip Balm
-Ethnic sensitive hair care products (oil, small rubber bands, etc.)
