This Volunteer will be assisting children in grades 3 - 6th grade, under the supervision of the Literacy Program Staff, in developing literacy skills by providing help with reading skills and comprehension.
This Program will be ran out of the Gardner Leadership, Law and Government Academy.
This Volunteer must be 18 or older. Experience with children is a must; working with children in a teaching or tutoring capacity is preferred.
Application Process
This volunteer will need to go though The Salvation Army's Safe from Harm training and a background check.
