About Literacy Program

This Volunteer will be assisting children in grades 3rd - 6th grade, under the supervision of the Literacy Program Staff, in developing literacy skills by providing help with reading skills and comprehension.
This Program will be ran out of the Gardner Leadership, Law and Government Academy located at 333 Dahlia Dr., Lansing MI
This Volunteer must be 18 or older. Experience with children is a must; working with children in a teaching or tutoring capacity is preferred. this volunteer will need to go though The Salvation Army's Safe from Harm training and a background check.
