About Hallelujah Fest
This event was developed as we found out from many families who would come into our Corps to receive other services that they could not take their children Trick-or-Treating due to having to work. Many of the families we serve are of low income and expressed that they work shifts that are not accommodating for holidays or their children. This event was open to the public and served youth and families from Eaton, Ingham, and Clinton counties as it will be again this year. This event includes passing out candy, playing games, decorating pumpkins, coloring, face painting, making caramel apples, music, and food.
We would like volunteers to assist with the activity stations. Those with cars for the Trunk-or-Treat portion of the event are encouraged to participate. The event will run from 5:30pm-8:30pm (accommodating set-up and take-down).
