About Front Desk Reception
Assist and fill in for front desk receptionist/intake when needed. Assist with assigned front desk duties such as answering reception phone in a professional and pleasant manner, referring calls appropriately, filing, documenting and keeping statistics of phone calls, assisting clients with food pantry, and other front desk/intake duties as assigned by the Intake Receptionist or Social Services Director.
HS graduate (minimum); work experience providing reception, secretarial duties, or other work requiring professional demeanor and office skills including word processing.
__Must have phone and computer skills, possess the ability to handle unexpected challenges, multiple demands, and diverse populations in a non-judgmental, pleasant and resourceful way. A quick learner and ability to respond to crisis with maturity, de-escalate situations, make referrals to appropriate staff as needed.
__Must handle client confidentiality and sensitive issues appropriately and per agency policies.
__Need to complete online ServSafe and Civil Rights training, background checks
