About The Mississippi Region V Lower Science Fair

The Bagley College of Engineering's Outreach Office is hosting the Region V MS Science and Engineering Fair on Thursday, April 9, 2015 (8-3:30) and we will need volunteers to help make this a successful event! The Mississippi Region V Lower Science Fair brings in elementary school school students from the northeast region of the state. Their projects are judged and ranked at this event, and the best of these go on to the statewide competition.

Volunteers are needed for set up the day before the event (Wednesday, April 8, 2015, 1-4), registration the day of the event, display and safety, judging, and tear down. Set up includes tables, taping, signage, etc. Registration includes handing out registration packets and T-shirts. Display and safety includes a brief training prior to time slot and checking each project for display and safety violations. Tear down may include helping participants with project tear down, taking tape off of tables, removing signs, etc.

For more information, please contact Christina McDaniel at 662-325-8511 or [email protected].
