About Mississippi B.E.S.T. Robotics Program

Would you like to help children foster their imagination while learning about technology, robotics, and engineering?

Mississippi B.E.S.T. (Boosting Engineering Science & Technology) Robotics Program is a Robotics Competition for students in Middle School or High School. Every year, the competition and game day field change and the competitors have to build a robot to suit the year's tasks at hand! The students are given all the materials they will need to build the robot by their Hub, which is MS BEST for Mississippi.

The event will be October 2 and October 3 at 114 Airport Rd. and The Humphrey Coliseum. Friday will have one-hour shifts beginning at 3 pm, 4 pm, and 5 pm. Saturday will have 2-hour shifts beginning at 8:00 am and going until 6 pm.

Volunteers are needed for the Game Day Competition to help with Set-Up, Logistics of the Game Day (including scoring, compliance checks, and t-shirt sales), Judging Marketing Presentations, Judging Exhibits, Judging Spirit & Sportsmanship, and Refereeing the Competition. Before the competition, the Bagley College of Engineering will be offering 3 different Volunteer "Crash Courses" for this year's Game Day Competition and the aspects of Volunteering! Each person will be fully equipped with all the knowledge about BEST Robotics and how to make this year's Competition the best so far! Thank you in advance for your energy and time!
