About Paint Partners Party
The public is invited to enjoy refreshments on the front porch of The Oaks House Museum as we thank our Paint Partners for the beautiful new historic exterior paint restoration. Come to the party and donate part of your time to greet visitors, to answer questions, to help with the silent auction, or bring bottled water or a plate of your favorite hors d'oeuvres.

We need volunteers to help with:
Answer questions inside the house
October 27, 2016 4:30pm – 6:30pm
Spend 30 minutes as a docent inside the house answering questions that visitors might have about the historic interior or the Boyd Family. Self-guided tour guides are available in lieu of docent-led tours. Detailed information about the house and the Boyds will be provided to volunteers. This is a great way to interact with visitors and to learn about the house.

Gather bid sheets, auction items, and accept payments from successful bidders. (This may require handling cash and using a credit card reader.)

Set up food and drink tables
October 27, 2016 3:15pm – 4:15pm
Arrange food, drinks, wine, cups/glasses, paper products, put ice in ice buckets.

Refresh and tidy food and drinks table
October 27, 2016 4:30pm – 6:30pm
For 30 minutes, watch hors d'oeuvres and drinks table, bring out more food when necessary, and keep it tidy.
