About Nyaka’s Annual Summer Celebration: Celebrating You, Our Supporters and Volunteers!

We want to slow down, spend some time in the sun, and celebrate You, our Amazing Supporters and Volunteers!

So invite your friends and family (we would love to meet them) and join us for a Cook Out and Family Friendly Fun!

Don't worry if you can't make it at exactly 5:30, we'll be happy to see you whenever you arrive!


Nyaka Staff will provide the following food and beverages; we just ask that you RSVP and bring a dish to pass if you wish! Feel free to tell us what you'll be bringing in comments below!

Beef and Veggie Burgers, All Beef Hot Dogs, and Buns

We will have the Red Tail Shelter near the snow hill and the dog park.

Hawk Island offers rowboat and pedal boat rental, a swimming beach, Splash Pad®, sand volleyball, horseshoes, paved accessible walkways (1.5 miles) and fishing docks.

There is a $3 per car admission price to get into the park.
