The Little Lighthouse Central Mississippi

About Us

”For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, ”plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11

The Little Light House Central Mississippi is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit Christian Developmental Center for children with special needs, age birth through six years of age. The Little Light House Central Mississippi does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, color, national or ethnic origin, or medical diagnosis (unless it affects the child’s ability to attend on a regular basis) in the administration of its educational policies, and other school administered programs. Some behavioral conditions may be evaluated on an individual basis. The Little Light House Central Mississippi assures that all children’s records will be maintained as confidential. All gifts to The Little Light House Central Mississippi are tax-deductible, less goods and services received.

The Little Light House serves children age birth through six with special needs. Our students come from a variety of religious and ethnic backgrounds, and have been diagnosed with developmental delays resulting from physically and mentally challenging conditions. Their disabilities include Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Hydrocephaly, Autism, and a range of other disorders.

Families with children with special needs already incur a mountain of medical debt, so we are a tuition-free facility. We have 4 major fundraising events a year. Our Garden Party, Golf Tournament, Laps for Little Ones and a 5k run are our major events. We gladly accept donations throughout the year.
