2012 Run for Africa
Hosted by: The Ladybug Project
About 2012 Run for Africa
Are you a runner? Do you want to help further The Ladybug Project's goals in Africa?
Join The Ladybug Project's worldwide "Run for Africa" event! Money raised through the 2012 Run for Africa will go directly to Equatorial Guinea, where we will set up the first continuing education program for healthcare workers in the country.
From October 1st to December 1st, runners all over the world will be donning Ladybug t-shirts and running races to raise money for our African healthcare projects...and we need YOUR help!
Signing up is easy, and we don't mind if you walk, crawl, or bicycle...we just want to get people moving for, and talking about, the important work that needs to be accomplished in Africa.
We need volunteers to help with:
Run for Africa
2) Register for a race happening in your hometown between Oct. 1st to Dec. 1st. It can be a 5K, 10K, marathon - whatever floats your boat.
3) Email Kim Reuter (kereuter@theladybugproject) so that you can get your free Ladybug Project t-shirt!
4) Raise some money, and kick butt on the day of your race! Don't forget to tell all your friends to come out and support you...and take lots of photos and video of your Run for Africa!
