About Baby Haven Facilitator

Baby Haven is an incentive-based program in Caldwell for low income families who are either expecting a child or have a child under 24 months old. You can change lives by helping parents set goals that promote healthy families.

Why should I be a Baby Haven Facilitator?
Baby Haven enables parents to provide each child with a healthy and stable start to life. Participants are rewarded for this continued education with resources for their infants. Our boutique provides formula, diapers, clothing, and more. Upon completion of the two year program, students participate in a graduation celebration ceremony and receive a certificate of completion.

How will I be helping?
Your role will involve assisting Baby Haven parents. Specific tasks will likely vary from shift to shift. Those tasks may include signing participants in, helping with boutique set-up, and aiding with childcare when needed. You will be an important part of ensuring that these parents are able to focus on the content of the class.

Is this a good fit for me?
A Baby Haven Educator must be:
• Happy to work with others
• Understanding of the trials that parents face
• Flexible and eager to help where needed
• Patient and positive

What else do I need to know?
Sign-up to see and select specific dates and times. We meet on the second and fourth weeks of each month. There are two, one hour long shifts available to choose from each meeting. We have classes in English and Spanish (translators provided when needed). The Salvation Army requires a background check. We will contact you arrange an informal interview.
