About Franklin Street Gallery and Gift Shop

The Franklin Street Gallery and Gift Shop is operated by The Arc of Schuyler, a non-profit human services organization providing supports and services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in the Schuyler County area. In addition to exhibiting and selling work created by regional artists, the gallery also displays and sells pieces created by individuals with developmental disabilities.

Gallery Assistants

Artists, college students, senior citizens, art enthusiasts, anyone who has the time and desire to support the arts in the Schuyler County region is encouraged to assist at the gallery. Volunteer assistants provide customer service, process sales transactions, help with special projects and allow for extended gallery operating hours. We provide training, hours are flexible, the atmosphere is great, and tourist season offers plenty of excitement and chances to meet new people.

Art Instructors and Presenters

The gallery seeks artists in all mediums to share their talent and knowledge with the community by instructing art classes, leading demonstrations, or conducting interesting lectures.
