About Domain Assistants

Both of our locations are in need of Domain Assistants. As part of our structured curriculum, The Arc of San Antonio has domain instructors who travel from classroom to classroom teaching a specific domain. Class curriculum is based around 7 domains. These 7 domains are: Literacy For Life, Money and Time Management, News-2-You and Current Events, Cooking and Exploration, Community and Social Skills, Recreation and Hobby and Computers and Technology. If you volunteer as a Domain Assistant, you will follow the domain instructor from classroom to classroom, helping them teach a specific skill or activity. Additional Training May Be Required.

Time:
West Avenue: Monday - Friday 9:30am - 11:00am and Monday - Thursday. 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Pam Stephens Center: Monday - Friday 10:30am -11:30am and 1:15pm - 3:00pm
