Application Processor duties are in the title! You’ll be responsible for reviewing and processing foster, volunteer and adoption applications. This role can be done from anywhere (just be sure to check time zones before calling people ).

Fosters offer a temporary home for dogs once in the organization. Their role is to provide a safe environment (food, shelter, water, exercise) where the dog can decompress, receive needed vetting and learn love. Fosters work with the Area Coordinators to promote their dog and ultimately find its perfect adopter/home.

Area Coordinators are responsible for the day-to-day operations of their area- including but not limited to; managing volunteers/fosters, preparing forms (owner surrender, foster agreement, adoption contract), posting area polls (intake, vet bills and other expenses), adding and managing dogs in the database, coordinating transports, tracking vet needs, building relationships with shelter/vet partners and more!

Assistant Area Coordinator duties may vary from area to area, but this role offers general support to the Area Coordinator on the listed responsibilities above.

LGD Area Coordinator/LGD Assistant Area Coordinator serve the same role as Area Coordinator/Assistant Area Coordinator but for the Livestock Guardian and Hobby Farm Dogs exclusively as their foster and adoption needs are specific vs a companion dog.
