About Youth Day SA

Our 2nd annual Youth Day SA will be held in San Antonio on August 18, 2018. This is a free event that is open to youth between the ages of 5 and 16. Kids will be able to try their hand at shooting slingshots, BB guns, pellet guns, shotguns, rifles and shooting some clays. Safety is the first thing that is emphasized at each station. Over 40 volunteers came out last year to help out and ensure that everything ran safely and smoothly. We had over 100 youth attend last year's event and are anticipating a much larger crowd this year.
TDHA is a family friendly organization. We encourage families to get involved together. It's a great way to give back to the community while working alongside your children.

Application Process

If you are interested in volunteering at this event,contact our office at 210-764-1189 or email [email protected]. Volunteers must be members of Texas Dove Hunters Association and attend Youth Day planning meetings. Join at texasdovehunters.com. They must also pass a background check.
