About “Love Your Avenue”/Philly Spring Clean Up

This event partners with the UnLitter Us Network, an award winning program from the Philadelphia Streets Department. The volunteer Clean and Safe Team of the CDC has worked to improve Torresdale Ave in Tacony, and is working to make it a “Litter Free Zone.” The team has reached out to businesses, property owners, neighbors and friends to reduce litter and thank businesses that clean their storefronts regularly. This is part of the CDC’s broader effort to revitalize the Torresdale Ave Commercial Corridor in the Tacony neighborhood of Philadelphia.

We need volunteers to help with:
