Susan G. Komen Chicago Mother’s Day Race for the Cure Volunteers
The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Series is the largest series of 5K run/fitness walks in the world. Volunteers play a vital role in helping make the Susan G. Komen Chicago Race for the Cure a success year after year!
The Chicagoland Affiliate is looking for volunteer groups for their upcoming Chicago Mother’s Day Race for the Cure on Sunday, May 8th, 2016 at Butler Field/Grant Park. (Most volunteer positions are from 6am-noon.)
Volunteer Positions Include:
• 1 Mile Walk Marshalls
• Course Marshalls
• Decoration/signage Set-up
• Education photo station
• Education sign Rovers
• Finish line marshalls
• Floaters/Runners
• Food Tent
• Ford Tent
• IATC Cureleaders/Cheerleaders
• Information Rovers
• New Balance Tent Volunteer
• Photographer
• Post Race Water
• Pre-Registration/Packet Pick-Up
• Race Course Water Set-Up/Floaters
• Start Line & 1 Mile Finish Marshalls
• Survivor Tent Assistants
• Team Tailgate
• T-Shirt Distribution
• Videographer
• Volunteer Check-In
