About Volunteer with Surgery on Sunday Louisville

Surgery On Sunday Louisville accepts individuals who wish to volunteer as surgeons, medical support (clinical) staff, medical interpreters for non-English speakers, and lay (non-clinical) volunteers. All volunteers are covered by our professional liability insurance policies. A copy of our binder is available upon request. We hold 10 surgical events per year at various local hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers that donate their facilities for our use once per month on rotation. We also hold pre-operative consultation and post operative follow up appointments at our clinic located at the Family Community Clinic, where our attending surgeons, assisted with medical interpreters as needed, provide excellent care for our patients. We welcome and appreciate every one of our volunteers!
