About I Love My Park Day

The third annual I Love My Park Day will take place on May 2, 2015, where thousands of volunteers across the state will participate in cleanup, improvement, and beautification events at more than 80 New York state parks and historic sites.

Here in Geneseo, volunteers will pitch in at Long Point Park from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Volunteers will help paint close to 50 picnic tables, clear brush and debris, and perform various tasks needed by the park's caretaker.

I Love My Park Day is coordinated at the statewide level by Parks & Trails New York in partnership with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
