About Geneseo CARES Inaugural Service Event
The Geneseo CARES Day of Service is a campus tradition that is sponsored by the Volunteer Center and supported by the Center for Community. Students will work on local community projects that may include cleaning and organizing community facilities, beautifying the town, and helping senior citizens. Volunteers will be spread throughout the Geneseo community wearing Geneseo CARES t-shirts to highlight the campus/community connection we value. The event will start with a kick-off gathering in the MacVittie College Union Lobby and Ballroom at 8:30am and projects will end on an individual basis around 12:00pm.
Application Process
Space is limited based on community need so volunteer spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please express your interest in volunteering by submitting the short form at www.go.geneseo.edu/GeneseoCARES.
