About Children’s Program Volunteers

Essential volunteer duties may include; facilitation of educational support groups, tutoring, mentoring, and acting as a positive role model. Opportunities
available both in the shelter and outreach children’s programs.

Requires initial interview, local background check and may require fingerprinting depending on the
amount of hours being volunteered. Training is required and is provided 3-4 times a year.
