Marketing Assistants: Radio Show Broadcast

We are a 100% Volunteer led charity hosting a thyroid cancer awareness and endocrine health awareness radio show looking for an organized, young minded, fast learner to join our creative marketing team. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor and attitude. Responsibilities include: support Executive Director and others in managerial team, assist in projects from concept through to completion, assist in development and planning of radio show marketing strategy, assist in writing and delivery of press releases, execute a wide variety of marketing strategies that involve online medium: e-campaigns, social media plugs, customer/sponsor communications, website, podcasts. Assist in sponsorship opportunity development and promotion of sponsorship opportunities.
Producer: Radio Show Broadcast

Radio producers are responsible for the audio content of our show broadcasts via the internet (blogtalkradio.com) and other mobile platforms. They are involved in the entire process, from generating ideas to managing the audience response after a program.
Typical activities include generating and researching ideas for programs, generating and researching ideas for sponsorships, developing content, writing material for scripts and bulletins, sourcing potential contributors and interviewees, selecting music appropriate to the program audience, producing pre-production briefings for presenters, technical staff and other contributors, managing the logistics of getting people, resources and equipment together to the right place at the right time as needed and
converting text, graphics, video and audio files into other formats as needed.
contributing to and making use of an archive of audio resources which can be re-used
responding to audience feedback as needed and/or referring to appropriate staff member/volunteer

Provide vital support in the development and day-to-day production of our local and national Blogtalkradio.com show. Give practical assistance to program presenters to ensure that shows run as smoothly as possible, undertaking key administrative activities as well as assisting in planning, researching and producing live and pre-recorded shows. Can have creative input on the development of new shows or features. The broad scope of the role, encompassing production and technical skills, means that it is a common starting point for a career in radio.
