About Starkville Highway Clean-Up

Would you like to be a part of cleaning up your city and making it beautiful?

The Multi-Cultural Lions Club has adopted a stretch of Highway 12 and they will be picking up trash along both sides the highway from Walmart down past the Shell station heading out of town. Join them on September 26 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM!

Application Process

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

It usually takes at least two hours to clean the area but volunteers can leave after one hour if they can't stay the whole time.

Volunteers need to wear long pants and sturdy shoes. Gloves, bags, water, and sunscreen will be provided.

This is a lot of physical activity: walking and bending over to pick up trash.
