About Hannah Pote Run for Education - Support

The Hannah Pote Run for Education is a 5K/Fun Run in honor of SHS Student Hannah Pote, who tragically died in a car accident in 1997. The Run for Education serves at the Foundation for Public Education's main fundraising event. It allows the Foundation the ability to award thousands of dollars in teacher grants and student scholarships each year. Volunteers at this year's race would help with directing parking traffic, hand out Fun Run medals, help with registration/food/chip timer tables.

The Event will take place on Nov. 7, 2015, at Starkville Sportsplex (405 Lynn Lane), from 7 am to 10 am.

Volunteers need to be somewhat active, though some volunteer activities will be seated.
