About Guardian Ad Litem Program

The Guardian ad Litem (GAL) Program in Palm Beach County is a partnership of community advocates and professional staff providing a powerful voice on behalf of Florida's abused and neglected children. Guardian ad Litem Volunteers (GALs) are trained, court-appointed advocates for children who have been abused, abandoned, or neglected

Application Process

1 - Make an appointment for an in-office interview with one of our GAL staff. (561-355-6224).

2 - After the office interview, an application will be forwarded to you.

3 - As part of the application, you must provide three verifiable references.

4 - As part of the application, fingerprint and background clearances are required.
